Volunteer

Have an hour or two to spare per month? Want to help promote safer communities in Oregon? There are many ways you can participate in the activities of Partnership for Safety and Justice. For more information about these activities and other possible volunteer projects, email Erika.

Join an Action Team - Action Teams meet in Portland and Eugene and require a commitment of at least two hours a month. Action Team members learn the skills to effectively lobby legislators, testify at hearings, and more. Action Team members also participate in the organization of lobby days and other meetings and events. Email Erika for more information.

Prisoner Mail – Prisoner Mail volunteers help answer the hundreds of letters we receive each week from prisoners. Email Erika for dates and times.

On-going office work and other opportunities – More support is always needed on projects in the office like assembling mailings or updating the database.

Attend our events – Check out our PSJ Spotlight section for upcoming events.

Internships – Past interns have worked on ballot measure campaigns and provided support and research for various programs. Contact Erika for possible internship opportunities.
