MT: Inappropriate Emails at MSP

At least 47 employees at Montana State Penitentiary may be disciplined for inappropriate use of the state’s email system. One person has already resigned. The state began investigating the prison employees’ use of the state email system in September after an employee raised concerns about an inappropriate message.

Investigators found that prison employees were using the state’s taxpayer-funded email system to send racist jokes, nude images, and other explicit and sexual emails. Prison administrators are considering a complete ban on personal email.
