The U. S. Department of Labor is suing Washington Department of Corrections for what could be millions of dollars in unpaid overtime owed to community corrections workers.

In early April, a guard at Snake River Correctional Institution (SRCI) shot and wounded a prisoner during a fight in the recreation area.
