April 3, 2013

It's a very busy week. Yesterday, we had an incredibly successful Youth Justice lobby day. Many, many thanks to all our members who came to talk with their legislators. Last month, we also had a PSJ Lobby Day - check Facebook for photos)  

Be sure to watch public testimony in support of HB 3193 and HB 3194. Hearings are today 5:30 to 7:30 and Friday (April 5th) at 1 pm.

On Friday, we will be at a press conference with other survivor groups advocating for funding for survivor services.

PSJ Crime Survivors Program Director Kerry Naughton testified today before the Public Safety Subcommittee of the Joint Committee on Ways and Means in support of a $4 million increase to the Oregon Domestic and Sexual Violence Services (ODSVS) Fund in the Department of Jusitce budget (HB 5018).
