In January, 2006, the three judge 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the sentence was justified because it carried out Congress’ intent to be tough on people who sell drugs. The attorney for Mr. Angelos will appeal the 10th Circuit’s decision to the Court of Appeals or the US Supreme Court.
