We're gathering your stories!

With your help, we hope to:

• raise awareness about the negative impact of charging youth as adults and detaining youth in adult facilities;
• reduce the number of children tried, sentenced and incarcerated in the adult system;
• decrease the harmful impact of trying youthful offenders in adult court; and
• promote evidence-based, developmentally appropriate programs and services for youth as an alternative to the adult system.

PSJ will use your story and those of other youth and their family members in research-based reports, policy briefs, newsletters and the PSJ website.
