PSJ Receives National Recognition

Partnership for Safety and Justice has been chosen as one of the top nonprofits working for local criminal justice reform by Philanthropedia, a subsidiary of GuideStar, a nonprofit organization working to make people aware of the highest impact nonprofits for specific issues.

Philanthropedia surveyed 126 experts working on criminal justice reform (with an average of 16 years of work experience in the field) who reviewed 144 organizations.

PSJ was selected as one of 21 nonprofits in the country who is making the biggest positive impact in criminal justice reform at the local and state levels.

We are incredibly proud to have our work recognized nationally. This kind of acknowledgement is really a tribute to the dedication of PSJ's members, staff and board, as well as the commitment that our funders and allies have shown in supporting our work. Thank you!

Together we are creating a pioneering and provocative model for reform that works with everyone most impacted by crime and the criminal justice system. We know we can create safety without sacrificing justice.

We will continue working hard to improve Oregon's approach to building safe and healthy communities while offering critical lessons for work around the U.S.
